Purpose and audience
The project helps biologists and bioinformaticians prepare, compare, and audit small RNA probe analyses before laboratory validation. It combines abundance-aware library processing, candidate search, conservative mismatch qualification, and an illustrative northern-blot view.
- Verified RNA
- An RNA whose selected full window or eligible terminal overlap stays within the chosen mismatch threshold for every base allowed by its symbols.
- Possible RNA
- An ambiguous RNA that may meet the threshold but is not counted as blot signal.
- Illustrative blot
- A visual summary of computed signal by RNA length, not a calibrated physical gel.

Hosted analyses use a private result link. The result and analysis data are retained for up to 90 days, according to the service’s current configuration, and then expire. Save any result or archive you need before that time.
The local .isnb viewer is different: the selected archive remains in your browser, is not uploaded to the hosted service, and is inspected without recomputing the analysis.
